RCIA
What is RCIA? RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This is a process of learning more about the Catholic faith. This is a journey which begins with a period of answering questions and discussing what the basis of the Catholic faith is about. After this period of discerning the journey moves forward to a deeper study of the traditions of the Church and how we are called to live what we believe. The journey culminates with the weloming and initiation into the Church at the Easter Vigil. At this time those who have journeyed through this process receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation) and are fully welcomed into the Catholic faith.
If you are interested in learning more about this process, please contact the parish office at 585-948-5344. We will begin this journey in the fall and generally meet on Sunday mornings for an hour.
